Univision Communications, Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiaries operate as a Spanish-language media company in the United States. The company operates in four segments: Television, Radio, Music, and Internet. The Television segment consists primarily of the Univision, TeleFutura, and Galavisión television networks, which are owned and operated broadcast television stations of the Univision Television Group (UTG), as well as the TeleFutura Television Group (TTG) owned-and-operated broadcast television stations. The UTG includes one station in Salt Lake City, Utah that is owned by the company.
TTG includes six stations in Boston, Massachusetts; Orlando and Tampa, Florida; Denver, Colorado; Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Washington D.C. that are owned by the company. The Radio segment owns and operates 68 radio stations in 17 of the 25 U.S. Hispanic markets and operates 4 radio stations in Puerto Rico. The Music segment owns and operates the Univision Records label and the Fonovisa Records label.
