Tesco has seen a steady increase in market share through a customer focused strategy including getting cheaper, offering better value and providing more choice and convenience for customers. It is now into its second billion pounds of price cuts, this represents more than an 11% drop in price in real terms.Tesco continues to invest in service. In 2001/2002 Tesco introduced Customer Champions in many stores, and implemented a new labour scheduler to further improve service for customers.

I was interviewed and prior to that I had prepared myself by researching the web all about tesco and went in my local store and spent 3hrs with the manager so that I could be ready for the assesment and when I was interviewed I was probed from start to finish.I was so disgusted when I came out of the room and I knew that she was not interested in what I had achieved in my career, she did not even look at my cv that suprised me as I told her that I was currently reading for my MBA,she went are you!!! I know I am well able for the position I applied for.
So that was my experiance with Tesco so sad I felt.
