Scana
Scana was established in 1987, starting off as a company primarily providing products and services to the oil and gas related industry. It developed over time into a company with a strong foothold in the steel and marine industries. In 1995 the company was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Scana is an industrial group with approximately 1700 employees (of whom more than 750 are working in China), and with an annual turnover in the range of EUR 160 million.
Scana’s head office is located in Stavanger, which is one of the largest cities in Norway. Stavanger is an industrial and commercial hub, and one of Europe’s main centres for offshore oil and gas activities.Scana’s operating companies are located in Norway, Sweden and China.
