It also is involved in biopharmaceuticals, which include hemostasis management (for bleeding problems and hemophilia), growth hormone therapy, and hormone replacement therapy. Products include Activelle (hormone replacement), NovoSeven (hemostasis management), and Norditropin SimpleXx (liquid growth hormone).Through its Novo A/S subsidiary, the Novo Nordisk Foundation owns 27% of the shares and controls about 70% of the voting power in Novo Nordisk.
