I cracked the mastek aptitude test. Was simple aptitude from R S Agrawal.
In GD, there was a new experience. The examiner didn’t give any topic for GD. She told us to decide the topic on our own. So 1 of the guys suggested the topic as ” In a rat-race, winner is always a rat” . So only 2 (he and his friend who were prepared ) got through the GD.
There were 7 candidates in the GD. I think topic for the GD is the responsibility of the examiner. It was very astonishing and shocking experience.

The Mastek pattern consists of an apti test of about 1 hour in which 60 questions are to be attempted. The q’s are simple from agarwal’s book.
The topic for GD is mostly to be decided by the group members. Examiners will not give the GD topic. So decide the topic well before the GD starts ( while candidates r asked to sit in a room to wait for).
The topic should be the latest one. If u tell some old topic like “Love marriage n arrange marriage” , examiner turns u off and moves to other one. They expect some vague topic like proverbs, hot topics etc. ..
Interviews are simply HR questions. They stress very less on technical side but be prepared.
