J Sainsbury is a leading UK food retailer with interests in financial services. It comprises Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, Sainsbury’s Bank, Bells Stores, Jackson’s Stores (acquired August 2004) and JB Beaumont and employs 150,000 people.
