HeidelbergCement is one of the world’s largest cement producers and the largest investor in the building and construction materials industry in the Central and Eastern Europe.
The company was founded in Heidelberg in 1873. Up to the end of the 1960s, it operated exclusively in the south of Germany. First international steps followed with a participation in the French cement company Vicat and the acquisition of Lehigh Cement in the US at the end of the 1970s. With the purchase of the Belgian CBR in 1993, HeidelbergCement almost doubled its business volume. With the acquisition of a majority holding in the second-largest Indonesian cement manufacturer Indocement, HeidelbergCement increased its cement capacity in the spring of 2001 by about a quarter to currently 77 million tonnes.

ZAGROS Cement ALIGOUDARZ Company under registration number 907 is one of those industrial manufacturing company in Iran in the field of cement in all standard types – except white cement – who intends to establish a complete plant for producing cement in three production lines each one with the capacity of daily 3300 tons which totally would be 10,000 tons daily. The main line would design produce gray cement. With respect to distribution and selling the cement product, inside Iran we will follow local rules and regulations and for its export, regarding contracts type, it would be acted according to international rules.
- Available Mines and Lands:
ZAGROS Cement ALIGOUDARZ Company owns all those rich mines required for row materials needed to produce clinker. These mines consist of lime mine with the capacity of more than 100,000 tons annually which supply us at least for 100 years with an area of approximately 4.751 square kilometers; gypsum mine with the same purity percent near the aforesaid mine with an area of approximately 6 square meters; and marl mine with the same specifications with an area of 6 square meters.
It should be noted that in order to take advantage of the necessary plaster as for 5%, its plant is being designed and executed in the lime mine. Chemical analysis details of mines based on careful scientific sampling with confirmation of well-known laboratories is also available.
Those lands which are under ownership of ZAGROS Cement ALIGOUDARZ Company are as follows: one of them with an area of 1200 hectares and the other with an area of approximately 600 hectares. All these mines and lands are located in LORESTAN Province, in west-sought of Iran.
Except cement project, other projects such as industrial town and low hand industries such as ceramic production are foreseen. Industrial forestry as for well utilization of woods is also being assessed.
In addition, the required fuel can be supplied from the nearest source. Climatic, geographical, earthquake, demographical, topographical, laboratorial-chemical analysis, man-power, financial foreseeing, and other detailed information are also available which we can present you if needed.
Moreover, these lands and mines are located in the least distance with the main roads and transportation networks of the country. This project is takes advantage of natural gases resources, necessary electrical power, consuming market, and required man-power.

ZAGROS Cement ALIGOUDARZ Company intends to enter cooperation with an honest foreign company in the field of establishing three complete lines of cement production according to the International regulations and rules.
