Fuji Television
Fuji Television is one of Japan’s top-rated commercial TV networks. Part of media conglomerate Fujisankei Communications Group, the company reaches 98% of the Japanese population through 28 TV stations. Its productions include It’s Kanta!, Water Boys, and “Tokyo Love Cinema.” (Fuji Television’s “Iron Chef” cook-off show — no longer broadcast in Japan — is now a popular program in the US.) In addition, the company produces motion pictures, owns a 30% stake in interactive broadcasting venture Satellite Service, and participates in a venture to use the Web to relay entertainment programs.
