BAE Systems
BAE Systems, an English Group, is one of the world leaders on the arms, military defense and aviation markets. It supplies a wide range of services, including systems integration and engineering. BAE Systems covers all sectors, from military defense (air, land, sea and aerospace) to the civil aviation market. The Group is one of the main suppliers of fighter planes (Hawk and Eurofighter Typhoon), radar, attack missiles, infrared, munitions, artillery equipment, chemical component detectors and camouflage systems. BAE Systems is split up into several branches: Customer Solutions & Support, BAE Systems Training (specialized training courses for BAE Systems technology, such as flight simulation), International Programmes (logistics, solutions, systems integrators and engineering) and Land/Sea/C41 (equipment design, analysis and assessment). As part of its new strategy of divesting non-core business, the group has for example completed the sale of Heckler & Koch, wich supplies small weapons to armed foreces and police. BAE’s vocation is to work internationally. With its 70, 000 strong workforce, it operates in almost 80 countries. Among its customers are Airbus, the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy.
